Designed to guide each student from beginner to confident musician through a clear, step-by-step path.

PIANO DISCOVERY PROGRAM
ages 4 - 5
Are you considering piano lessons for your preschooler but worried they might be too young? Music Steps Academy is the perfect place for them to get started. They will learn in a warm and nurturing environment and will be excited to come to lessons each week.
What To Expect:
12-week session: 30 min weekly classes are packed with singing, dancing, listening, laughing, and making music with friends.
Learning Through Play: We explore piano geography and learn basic music concepts through movement and hands-on activities.
Skill Development: While learning music concepts, students also practice recognizing letters, numbers, patterns, and colors.
No Piano at Home Required: During the lessons each student gets to play at the piano and are not expected to practice at home.
Tuition: 3 payments of $100/per student + $25 Registration Fee
PIANO EXPLORERS PROGRAM
ages 5 - 6
Our Piano Explorers Program is specifically designed for younger beginners, ages 5-6, or our Piano Discovery graduates, to keep them engaged and enjoying learning piano.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
40-Minute Small Group Classes: Students are pared based on their age and skill level.
Engaging Curriculum: Each lesson is divided into multiple hands-on activities to keep your child focused and excited.
Foundational Piano Skills: While learning to play simple songs, we work on establishing good piano posture, practicing essential techniques, and developing a strong sense of pitch and rhythm.
Pathway to Advanced Learning: Upon completion, students will be ready to transition to our Piano Express program and continue to build on their skills.
Tuition: $50 Registration Fee + $130/month
PIANO PLAYGROUND
45-Minute, Small Group Classes for ages 5-7
This piano program is specifically designed for younger beginners or our Piano Explorers graduates, to keep them engaged and excited about learning piano.
Each lesson is divided into multiple hands-on activities and includes Drum Circle, Individual Piano Time, Movement, Group Games, and Performance Opportunities.
While learning to play familiar songs, we work on developing essential piano skills: proper technique, hand coordination, a strong sense of pitch and rhythm, and early note-reading.
With our structured curriculum and multi leveled approach, students build skills step by step at their own pace.
Upon completion, they will be well prepared to transition into our Piano Express Lab program and continue progressing with strong musical foundations.

PIANO EXPRESS LAB
55-Minute Small Group Classes for Ages 7 +
This unique piano lab format program combines traditional methods with innovative technology to help students track their progress and stay motivated - making learning piano feel like a fun and rewarding game.
Each lesson is thoughtfully structured to include individual practice, technique development, theory work, ear training, creative composition, and group games & ensembles.
With our structured curriculum and multi leveled approach, students build skills step by step at their own pace.
Upon completing all 6 levels, students gain the skills, confidence, and independence needed to successfully transition into private lessons for more advanced study.
60-Minute Sessions: With longer lessons students get more time to learn their music during class, so they can work on polishing their pieces at home with confidence.
Self-Paced Program: Multi-level class format allows each student to focus on their individual assignments and progress at their own speed.
Innovative Technology: Students have access to the web-based software, which includes tutorial videos, play-along tracks, and optional grading system for more interactive learning experience.
Convenient for Families: You can drop off multiple children at once and enjoy a full hour to run errands, while your kids immerse themselves in music!
Pathway to Advanced Learning: Upon completion all 6 levels, students will be fully prepared for more advanced studies.

30-Minute, Private Lessons for ages 5 +
One-on-one lessons for younger students needing personalized attention or students who completed Piano Express Lab program and ready to deepen their skills and artistry.
Each lesson is custom-tailored to each child's pace and goals.

PIANO JOURNEY PROGRAM
ages 13 and up
Our “Piano Journey” program would be a great fit for older beginners, transfer students with previous experience, or our “Piano Express” graduates who are committed to piano and ready for more advanced studies.
During their 75 min lessons, each students will rotate through 3 stations: 25 min one-on-one instruction, 25 min of Theory Work, and 25 min of Piano Lab.
The program is geared toward exploring a larger variety of repertoire, in-depth studying of music theory, and focusing on perfecting piano technique and musicality.
Dedicated home practice on a well-maintained acoustic piano or full size (88 keys) digital piano with weighted keys is expected.
